From the brief to a treatment train

Design connects source-water quality, flow and the intended result with actual site conditions. Wastewater treatment, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis are assessed as individual stages or as parts of a connected process.

Design considerations

  • The project brief, analyses and design loads.
  • Space, utilities, maintenance access and operator resources.
  • Sludge, backwash water and concentrate handling where applicable.
  • Local requirements for design and operation.

Stage deliverables

An agreed process layout, equipment scope and initial installation and control requirements. The scope of drawings, calculations and local approvals is defined in the project brief.
