SOLVIA PumpFlow™

Flow control for a submersible grinder pump by returning part of its discharge to the receiving tank. The pump and cutting mechanism retain their nominal rotational speed.

Discuss your project

Conceptual process train. Your project determines the configuration.

How it works

Pump discharge is split between the pressure network and an adjustable return to the receiving vessel. The return jet contributes to mixing, while level and pressure inform control. Network flow changes through distribution of the stream rather than reduced grinder speed.

Applications

For sewage pumping stations, receiving tanks, balancing vessels and local treatment works. Considered for new installations and upgrades to existing pumping assemblies.

Development status

A SOLVIA technology development for project-specific systems. Layout, materials and operating settings are selected for the stream composition and site conditions, with implementation details established during engineering.
