How it works

Leachate undergoes physico-chemical pretreatment and membrane separation. Concentrate is handled separately: lime-aeration conditioning, electrodialysis and subsequent treatment are selected from analytical indicators. Control considers by-products and residual saline streams.

Applications

For municipal-waste landfills, sorting and transfer sites, and upgrades to existing leachate treatment plants. Stream composition and seasonal variation are established before selecting modules.

Development status

A SOLVIA technology development for project-specific systems. Layout, materials and operating settings are selected for the stream composition and site conditions, with implementation details established during engineering.
