How it works
Collected runoff is separated into fractions with different pollutant loads. The glycol-rich part is directed to concentration and oxidative treatment; the reagent-salt stream follows a separate process including a biological stage. Operation is matched to the actual chemicals used.
Applications
For airports, aerodromes with seasonal aircraft and pavement treatment, and winter-runoff collection systems. Selection considers reagent composition, inflow peaks and storage arrangements.
Development status
A SOLVIA technology development for project-specific systems. Layout, materials and operating settings are selected for the stream composition and site conditions, with implementation details established during engineering.
