How it works
The reagent is dosed into the membrane feed to influence mineral-scale formation. Formulation and dosing are selected for the water's ionic composition, reverse-osmosis operation and pretreatment. Membrane compatibility is considered when defining the working solution.
Applications
For drinking and industrial water systems, hotels, food production and desalination plants. Engineering considers salt composition, operating conditions and membrane maintenance.
Development status
A SOLVIA material development for project-specific use. Material selection, application method and operating conditions are matched to the medium; formulation and manufacturing details remain part of the developer's technology.
